In 2011, we expanded our capabilities by establishing a new facility in Taichung, Taiwan. This modern site houses our engineering team, a sophisticated quality control laboratory, and supports the development of new products. Additionally, our warehouse and branch in Shanghai enable us to efficiently serve the China market.

Our Journey: From Trading to Manufacturing

Founded in 1983 by George and Gloria, Parget Industrial Co., Ltd. began as an exporter of Taiwanese-made hand tools to markets including the United States, Canada, Australia, and Korea. In 1992, to strengthen our competitive edge, we initiated tool manufacturing—specifically Hex Key Wrenches—in both Vietnam and Taiwan. For the first 15 years, our Vietnam facility managed the entire process from raw material import to finished DIY tool sets. In 2009, we shifted our investment back to Taiwan, establishing operations in the Tai-Li Industrial Zone for improved cost control, quality, and faster service. This move also allowed us to expand into the fastener and bike industries, elevating our engineering capabilities.

Import, Expansion, and Diversification

In 1997, Parget became one of the pioneers in importing semi-finished and loose-pack products such as pliers, wrenches, hammers, and screwdrivers from mainland China. These imported tools were supplied to mid-stream factories for assembly into sets, broadening our product lines and market reach.

OEM and ODM Partnerships

By the late 1990s, Parget had established OEM and ODM collaborations, expanding our offerings to include hand tools, air tools, power tools, woodworking machines, garden tools, and automotive specialty tools. Participation in international exhibitions such as Practical World (Cologne) and Automechanika (Frankfurt) has facilitated connections with OEM and ODM partners, furthering our global expansion.

The year 2005 marked a significant milestone with the launch of our own brand, LICOTA. Through uncompromising quality and value, we reintroduced our products with new designs and packaging.
